Job Description - Salesforce Developer
We are seeking a talented Salesforce Developer to join our team on a contract basis. As a Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining Salesforce solutions to meet our organization’s business needs. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, customize Salesforce applications, and ensure seamless integration with other systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement customized Salesforce solutions, including configuration, development, and integration with other platforms and systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into technical solutions within the Salesforce platform.
- Customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other relevant technologies to meet business requirements and enhance user experience.
- Develop and maintain Salesforce integrations with third-party systems and applications using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and other integration tools.
- Configure and maintain Salesforce features, including custom objects, workflows, process builder, validation rules, and data management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service, to optimize Salesforce functionality and drive business process improvements.
- Perform Salesforce administrative tasks, including user management, security settings, roles, profiles, and permissions.
- Conduct unit testing, code reviews, and deployment activities to ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce implementation, configuration, and customization.
- Stay updated on latest Salesforce technologies, releases, and best practices, and assess their applicability to our organization's needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer or similar role, with at least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development and customization.
- Proficiency in Salesforce technologies, including Salesforce Lightning Platform, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, security model, and best practices for customization and development.
- Experience in designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions, including custom applications, integrations, and data migration.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce development tools, such as Salesforce DX, Salesforce CLI, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II (preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, gather requirements, and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
